just found out that in the last 30 days my scumbag leaching cousins stole almost 100k out of my grand mothers checking account.

If I were able to help you out the first thing that would happen to each of them would be a kneecap getting broken with a baseball bat. Then the conversation would start. If I didn't like what I heard I would work them over some more. I would be sure to leave one hand intact long enough for them to confess and/or write a check to cover what they stole. After that I'm not sure what would happen.

I grew up in and around the suburbs of Chicago, as did my wife. Most of my relatives that were good, are all dead. What's left I have no contact with. (Mostly cousins). My wife has a sister that lives about 5 miles from us. But they haven't spoken in 9 years. She recently ran her husband off, (the second one), and lost a ton financially in the divorce. She's in her mid 60's, and they were married for quite a long time. He finally got fed up with all of her bull$h!t.

My wife found out all of this on the Internet, not through contact. Anyway, this woman is a total control freak, and is nuttier than a Christmas fruitcake. I'm surprised her husband lasted as long as he did with her. Anyway, they're both now living in mobile homes. I don't care where they are, just as long as it's not near eye contact with me!

Two non-violent options I have used.  Have to be there or have someone you can trust do the work.

Wood putty in any lock key holes you have access to.

Removing the valve stem core from all tires.

I've often wondered of plugging the roof top plumbing vents would be effective...but you need access to the roof via the ladders and equipment construction folks use.

I read in one of those how to get revenge books to put crazy glue on a toothpick, shove it in the lock, snap it off, and push it in a little farther. It seems like it would really be effective as long as the glue sticks.
