early in my teaching career, the Sheriff's Dept presented a "what's the current student drug of choice" program... in a Q&A session, I asked if di methyl sulf oxide (DMSO) was being used to "ingest" any of the drugs... the young officer looked at me, hung his head, commented "that's a new one", and wrote something down on his pad...

I lost at least 3 young girls to GHB

What's sad is the fact that if these "modern home chemists" that keep finding new ways to get high or tweaked or whatever it is today would expend the same effort for getting educated and then applying that to solving real problems then we'd have less disease.
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Hi guys. I would have been on here sooner but I spent 8 hours getting my computer to work right and running some scans to make sure it would be okay.

I took glucosamine and chondroitin together for, I guess, a few months. Maybe that wasn't long enough. It didn't do anything for my knees that have been hurting for the last 45 years. I think I took MSM too but I'm not sure.

I like witch hazel and have used it as aftershave. I'm pretty sure that's what the barbers in Germany used after shaving around my ears and the back of my neck with a straight razor. I remember using arnica when I was just a kid. It had a strong odor and it wasn't a pleasant one. If something with arnica in it doesn't stink I wonder how much is in it? I'm still mulling over the Sore No-More.

Sore No-More isn't cologne, and there is a scent to it, but it's not so strong as to be offensive.  I find it works pretty well.  The pay me nothing for my recommendation.  It's been working for me and Bunny still sleeps in the same bed, so it can't be that bad.

What really amazes me is that people are willing to place their lives on the line by taking these untested chemical compounds. It brings a whole new level to "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes".

Has the value of life decreased so much?

I start physical therapy for my right shoulder tomorrow. With any luck I'll get the range of motion back with a lot less pain. Today my doctor said I lost 4 pounds in a month. The nurse who weighed me in checked my height and said I'm 1/2 inch shorter, but she was having a hard time seeing the measurement. If I lost 1/2 inch of height that would explain how I lost 4 pounds in a month while doing no exercise at all.  ;)  I bet I'm 1/2 inch taller when I go back.

Just filling out the paperwork before I could start PT was enough to cause more pain in my shoulder. And I didn't realize just how bad my movement was impaired until I held my forearm at a 90 degree angle in front of me and rotated it toward the side. I did some stretches with a big rubber band which caused popping and cracking in various places, but sounded and felt like it was mainly my lower back.  ???  I can't recall that happening before, but my body does weird things anyway.

You may want to check your diet too.  It's looking like some of my food allergies have come back.  I've been seeing a homeopathic doc for a while now.  When I am faithful to the diet and the supplements I make positive headway when I cheat on either not so much....work and stress being what it is.

Traditional medicine "farm" I used to see does a good job of ushering me in and out and down along the line of doctors.  I've had a wound on one of my legs for 3+years now.  Traditional medicine can't answer what it is...but they've taken thousands in appointments, tests and such...their answer is:1) We don't have any idea what is causing this 2) Take this steroid cream once or twice daily and 3) If it gets worse come back sooner then your (useless, my add) quarterly appointments.

The "natural" doc I'm seeing now sent me for exhaustive blood tests.  Bottom line that wound is an autoimmune response driven by some food allergies.  Some D3 and diet change and it improved dramatically...then I went back to work and went back to bad food and I lost ground.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.

I don't have any food allergies that I know of. So far I haven't had an allergic reaction to anything I ate, but have had one to some medicine. I do need to cut down on the fat and sugar, along with how much I eat altogether. Some days I wait for hours before I eat breakfast, depending on how busy I am, and have 2 meals a day. Other days I eat all day and I'm still not satisfied.

Today, I surrendered to the painful limp. I ordered a cane. Can't walk without limping, and it still hurts even with the limp. Borrowed a cane for a few days and it helps some, enough to make the purchase worthwhile.

Can't help but feel like I'm giving up. Won't let the punk assed kids at work know about it though. I'm still able to work their dicks into the dirt!
