A whole bag of Chocolate Pretzel & Cinnamon nut mix made by the oldest pistachio company in America, 100 year old Germack of Detroit. I had a tall glass of zero calorie sweet tea with my snack mix.

Saturday we went to a favorite seafood joint just over the bridge off Amelia Island, FL.
I had the fried butterflied shrimp plate with fries and fried okra.....Good stuff.
My gut can't tolerate any beverage made using local water there, so I had a Miller Lite with the meal.

I mean with 100+ eateries on Amelia you couldn't find one on the island?   Come on.  There's everything from greasy spoons to hoity-toity.  Have they finished all the road work from I-95 to the island yet?

FaceBook pushed a suggested video of a lady, I think in Australia, espousing her NEW way to cook chicken.  I was debating whether to put it here or under our Humor thread.

Basically she took chicken breast floured them, added some other seasonings and then pan fried them in a skillet with 2 sticks of butter.  I didn't have the heart to comment and offer her congratulations, you just invented deep south fried chicken... a couple hundred years to late.

I ate the last 4 slices of cinnamon raisin toast with real butter. I bought 4 loaves last month and put 2 in the back of the fridge, and didn't have any of it go bad.

A bunch of cheese Bosco Sticks, dipped in Italian sausage pasta sauce. I stopped at Gordon Food Service on the way home from the doctor. They still had Bosco Sticks on sale, and pepperoni pizza ones were in stock this time, so I bought 2 bags of them. I think there are 36 per bag. I put a piece of aluminum foil in the toaster oven instead of using the baking pan, so there's no cleanup.

I ate a bag full of Tex Mex Pub Mix before I went back to bed early this morning. It had Jalapeño Peanuts, Almonds, Cheese Corn Sticks, Pepitas, Guacamole Bites, BBQ Corn Nuts and Salted Sesame Sticks mixed together. Now I'm going to eat the last 5 Bosco Sticks and sauce for breakfast. Yes, I'm eating breakfast after 7:00 pm. The next batch I bake will be pepperoni pizza flavor.

P.S. I'm drinking sweet tea and unsweetened tea mixed half and half. It tastes good that way. It's still sweet enough with half the sugar of sweet tea.

Just got back from lunch and I probably had the best wing’s ever. Kimi wanted to try out this Korean wing spot that her bff told her about. We had 8 sweet and sour and 8 soy. I had my reservations about the soy, but I was totally surprised. They were crispy on the outside and tender and savory on the outside. These weren’t the pigeon sized you get at Buffalo Wild Wings. I’ll give them an 8 out of 10. Btw I took home an order of soy wings for lunch tomorrow 😂
