What's the last thing you ate or are currently eating?
« on: February 01, 2018, 05:18:03 PM »
A forum I used to be a member of had a thread about what was the last thing you ate or are eating now. I thought we could give it a shot here.

I just had some 57% pure honey gingerbread from Dijon, France. The other 43% is almost all rye flour with enough water to mix it together.

I haven't had plain peanuts in a very long time but like Planter's brand nuts. I like deluxe mixed nuts with no peanuts much more than mixed nuts and peanuts. I already had a bunch in the cupboard and bought more when RiteAid had them on sale buy one, get one free.

There was a bar, one of about a dozen in the Amway Plaza in Grand Rapids, called the Back Room Saloon.  They had unlimited baskets of roasted peanuts at the bar and all the tables.

Shuck em and chuck em!  The floor on a typical Friday was covered with shucks!  Great way to sell more beer and booze!  Salt sells libations!

Just pan seared 1/2 dozen sea scallops for dinner with sweet corn and taters...

It’s nice living near an ocean but I do miss a good pan fish or walleye dinner!

Maple sausage link, hash browns and a couple of fried eggs with buttered toast. Glass of tomato juice and a cup of coffee. Normally my Sunday breakfast but I was hungry this morning.

Leftover shrimp alfredo.
