Chicken Gumbo from The Original Soup Man. Not bad. He's the guy that Seinfeld made the Soup Nazi episode about.

I thought I liked lobster and crab until a couple of weeks ago when I had his Lobster Bisque, and his Crab & Corn Chowder. Both times when I opened the door of the microwave after heating a bowl of soup it stunk. Like shells that have been in the garbage too long after feasting on crab legs.

I didn't care for his Chicken Noodle soup. I had high expectations, but didn't like the combination of spices. Maybe because it had turmeric in the chicken base and more turmeric in the curry powder.

I'm having some organic creamy potato leek soup. There's no cream in it, but the potatoes have been pureed. I melted a slice of Gouda cheese in it to give it more flavor. Earlier I had a bowlful with several pieces of hot pepper cheese melted in it. I overdid it and all I could taste was peppers and cheese. This is better.

I'm eating La Choy beef chow mein with crispy noodles. I knew I had a can of beef chow mein and a can of chicken chow mein in the cupboard with a big bag of noodles. Last week I found another can of beef chow mein that I forgot about. Since the bag of noodles is open I'll eat all 3 cans of it this week.

2 Arby's bacon beef & cheddar sandwiches for $6 with coupon. They had regular beef & cheddar sandwiches for $5 with coupon. I never had them with bacon before so I gave them a try. IMO the extra dollar wasn't worth it.

Yesterday I got an email coupon from Honeybaked ham store that was only good today. It was a tax break special, a Ham Classic sandwich for $4.17 on 4/17. The regular price is $6.49 so I had to jump on that deal. I was hungry and knew one sandwich wouldn't be enough to fill me up. Since I would be driving past Arby's anyway, I clipped a coupon, and stopped there on the way back home. I'll eat my ham sandwich later.
