I took a pound of ground beef that was nearly frozen solid and made sloppy joes out of it, to the best of my ability with the ingredients I have on hand. I used salt and pepper, chili powder, smoked paprika, ground mustard powder and about a half dozen other things, plus water and ketchup. After it simmered 15-20 minutes, I poured half of it on a plate full of chopped sharp Pinconning cheese, and microwaved it so the cheese melted. The other half is on another plate full of cheese, ready to be microwaved when I get hungry again.

Had cubed steak sandwich for lunch (leftovers) and a homemade doughnut for a snack....corn-dogs for supper.

Coffee and graham crackers for breakfast before taking one of the granddaughters to school and off to doctor appointments.

We weren't happy with the first batch of doughnuts the other day, so the wife found a different recipe. These were lighter (less dense) and the glaze held better......much better than the first ones.  ;D

I had a cake donut recipe in about eighth grade I liked. It's probably still written on a piece of paper, in a box with recipe cards in the hall closet at my mom's house. I need to go through some of those recipes one of these days.

I ate my last bag of whiskey beef jerky, and have a couple bites left of Pinconning cheese as a second course. The jerky was too good to eat them both together.

I had 2 boneless pork chops with lots of Cajun seasoning for breakfast, and now I'm nibbling on smoked hot pepper cheese.

Macaroni and cheese. It was a tray containing 2 servings that I completely covered with smoked hot pepper cheese and put back into the microwave until it was hot and thick and gooey.
