I'm sucking on a Warm Apple Pie flavor Smith Bros warming throat drop. Before this I had Motor City deep dish pepperoni pizza. Smith Brothers made America’s first cough drop 177 years ago. They use pectin to form a soothing protective film over your mucous membranes. I have 2 more flavors when these run out.

Once when my beard was getting long my mom told me I looked like one of the Smith Bros. :)

They had a factory in Poughkeepsie NY, which is just South of me. It was torn down to make  new bigger jail.

The U.S. has nearly two million people incarcerated and over three million on probation. It's the largest known prison population in the world, with 20% of the world’s incarcerated people. China, with more than four times more inhabitants, has fewer people in prison. The solution to the problem seems simple to me, impose the death penalty for parking violations. ;)

Spanakopita, a Greek savory spinach pastry with  feta cheese, eggs, onions, and ricotta cheese. After sleeping 35 hours I was hungry enough to eat half of a 21 ounce package. I'm going to eat some ice cream bars too.

Spicy mush. I poured some salsa in a pot, added the rest of a sweet corn bake (1/4 pan?), and all of the grated Parmesan and Romano cheese I had. I heated it up and broke it into smaller pieces. It looked like it needed more salsa so I opened a jar of salsa verde and poured some of that in. I used a potato masher on it to break it up finer and poured the hot mess in a bowl. I ate half and put the other half in the fridge for later.

I had a Brisket BOSSWICH sandwich and a BBQ Brisket Melt sandwich from Rally's. I got a haircut first, then walked out the door and into Rally's right next-door in the same building. There are 3 Rally's in Flint, and this one in the township is the only one that shares a building with another business. One used to be KFC, and I think the one downtown is drive-through or walk-up only, with no indoor dining. Or robbery. It's on Saginaw ST which I generally avoid, except for 1/2 mile to get from one street to another, and it's on 1 of the 2 corners where I turn.

The last thing I ate last night was a 7 oz. jar of Jet-Puffed Marshmallow Creme (685 calories), with 3 cups of Earl Grey tea. I could really smell the oil of bergamot when I opened each of 2 sealed teabag pouches. I made the 3rd cup with both used teabags before I chucked them in my compost container in the cupboard. That's as much use as I get out of teabags. My mom used to make a whole pot of tea with 1 teabag and save it to use again. How many times? I don't know.

I started eating some Heath bar ice cream and it didn't seem to have much flavor, so I put some in a glass, added Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee, and made a milkshake. It's good.

I had a package of frozen Cilantro Lime Rice in the freezer. The preferred method of cooking it is in a microwave oven, and an alternate method is cooking it in a non-stick skillet with a lid. So I cooked it in an open cast iron skillet. As it was finishing, I added a bunch of Queso Blanco Dip and stirred it in. Then I put it in a bowl and set it aside. Next I put 2 cans of chili with beans in a pot and heated it up. I added lots of chili powder and 3 kinds of hot sauce. When the chili was hot I stirred in the cheesy rice and heated it some more. I ate a bowl and a half of cheesy chili and rice, and have a bowl left over for later.

I'm drinking a Cayman Jack zero sugar Margarita, because Margaritas go good with chili. Cayman Jack is still one of the best tasting malt liquor imitation cocktails I've had, and the zero sugar isn't bad either. It only has 100 calories per 12 ounce can. I'm switching back to water or iced tea after one drink. I mixed a half gallon of sweet tea with a half gallon of unsweetened tea, and haven't tasted it yet.
