Road snacks on the way home from camping trip: jerky, trail mix, crackers, chips, etc.

We did eat a fine shrimp and chicken meal at our favorite restaurant near the beach last night. I did have a nice cold Yuengling draft with my meal. The only time I really ever drink alcohol any more is on beach trips (with meals)...the water is so bad in NE FLA that is tears our guts up if we drink it or anything that uses it like tea and unfiltered fountain drinks. So we'll drink the beer.

Added to my memory bank: Don't drink the water in Mexico Florida, or you might experience Montezuma's Revenge.

I had 2 beef enchiladas for dinner. The last thing I ate was ice cream. Breakfast was 2 chicken enchiladas.

I just ate 3 Blueberry Mini Moon Pies that I put on a paper plate and microwaved for 10 seconds. They only make blueberry flavor once in a blue moon, and when I saw 6-pack boxes at Walgreens one day, I grabbed a box of these and a box of banana. Moon Pies are SO MUCH better when you microwave them a little bit.

We got back from our trip and went for supper at our favorite local Mexican joint. I had three tacos....shrimp, chicken and steak. The wife had her usual chicken fajitas. She only ate about half, so we split the leftovers for lunch today.  :D

Nanner Mini Moon pies. I turned them upside down on the plate before I microwaved them, and it seemed to leave less of the coating on the plate. I scraped it up with the back of my thumbnail and ate it because it's the best part, other than the warm marshmallow. Waste not, want not. ;) I wouldn't mind if they made them without cookies, as long as they had coated marshmallows.

Deep fried chicken gizzards with white pepper seasoning sprinkled all over for Sunday dinner.
Then back at home I had a small spoon full of leftover cake frosting the wife made yesterday for a birthday cake. Got to have that small hit of sweet after a meal to make it hit just right.
 ;D ;D ;D
