Supper last night was a chuck roast with home-grown taters, baby carrots, mushrooms and onions....slow-cooked all day in a crockpot with beef broth, Lanes's SPG and a packet of ranch seasoning. Delicious, indeed.
Lunch today saw heated leftovers along with a batch of biscuits the wife whipped up. I opened up two biscuits and slathered them in the roast beef juice and bits from the crockpot. I told the wife instead of SOS I was having SOH: sh!t-on-a-hubcap.
That was so good I'll probably hit it again for supper.
I'm one of those folks that can eat the same thing several meals in a row....if it's good.
