""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

Yep.  I've seen that.

By the way, any of your guys who play with stock might give Wendy's ( WEN ) a look.  They are at a 2 year low down from say $21 to $8.50.  This is not stock recommendation or advice.

Wendy's has just started selling chicken strips.  I swung by and picked up a single burger (too much bread....where's the beef?) which is not at all what it used to be.  They thickened the bread and lessened what used to be there when the burgers were good.  However...I stopped by to find out how the chicken is selling.  At this one Wendy's store I was told the sales of the chicken was very good and that the burger sales was also up.  My thought was that chicken would bring in clientele that normally goes to say Burger King and McDonalds because they have chicken which would satisfy a family member who does not prefer burgers....with the advent of Wendy's chicken that family can now swing by Wendy's to satisfy the yard bird eater whilst the burger eaters can also get what they want.

I would be interested what in hearing what your observations are for Wendy's in your area.  Yeah...I bought some of their stock.
