Butter Pecan Meltaways for dessert. And before that, a bunch of Hot Honey Pepperoni Phyllo Bites.

Scrambled eggs with red onion, ham drenched in Tabasco.  Mustard with some pork sausage on the side.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

Wife made chili so a bowl of that was lunch. She also made some homemade cheesecake danishes with strawberry and that was dessert....as well as mid afternoon snack.

I ate my last slice of lemon cream cake and put the last of my knockwurst in the microwave.

Supper was what the wife and I call "wedding chicken" since we cook it for weddings from time to time.
It's boneless chicken breasts that we dry brine overnight with sea salt, coarse black pepper, granulated garlic and a blend of five Italian seasonings. We cover it in cream of mushroom and top with a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Bake for two hours and end up with tender, juicy chicken with a hearty flavor.... and since it makes a mighty fine gravy, we serve it with mashed taters.

Lasagna, about 22 ounces, ~1/4 of a 90 ounce tray. And M&M'S milk chocolate pumpkin pie flavor for dessert. They taste kind of weird, and not especially pleasant.

Wednesday night was hamburger steak smothered in onions and gravy with mashed taters and baby limas.

Today's lunch was a sandwich made with one of the leftover patties and some salt & vinegar Pringles.

They tried to feed me lima beans once in the hospital when I was a little kid. I don't even know what I was in there for, but I don't think I ever ate another lima bean in my life. I remember in the army they had corn and lima beans in the mess hall one day. They called it succotash but it was just corn and lima beans. All I could think of was, is this what Sylvester the cat was talking about when he'd say sufferin' succotash?

I had a bunch of Hot Honey Pepperoni Phyllo Bites. Now I want something sweet.
