Not sure if it's well-named but it's funny. Hell, MI. It freezes over every winter.  ;D  Also some people go there to get married. It can only get better from there, right? I'm not sure what the road to Hell is paved with. I think it's asphalt.  ;)  People like to send postcards from Hell. The whole town is one big joke. It's 342 miles and a 5-1/2 hour drive from Hell to Paradise, MI. A lot of snowmobilers think Paradise is well named.

I've been to Hell and back.  My Grandparents weren't to sure about the postcards my sister and I sent them (Grandpa was a pastor in his younger days.)

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

440 miles from Mott t' Hoople.  ;D  You can go All the way from Memphis.

If you know how to pronounce Nacogdoches... you might be a redneck.  :)

Most places aren't named for a real thing that's there but Alabaster, MI  is named after a variety of gypsum used in drywall, mined here since 1837.

There's Mesick, and Pine Stump Junction, MI.

We also have Romulus and Remus.
