Smoke detector batteries.  Can't find them to save my life.  Yes they are special.  You can use regular  9 volts, but don't expect more than a year or two.

Been watching this guy since you put me onto him, Rastus, thank you for that. Very interesting, very insightful, and an excellent use of the technology publicly available. Forward Observer is another one (ex-G2/S2 and CIA guys).
