Posts should be deleted for violating the site's terms of service, not because someone is feeling butthurt. I thought he was a moderator but couldn't remember what part of the forum. Self defense was my guess, but I don't think it matters anymore.

On Pretti: The link below is to Colion Noir's youtube. I think he explains my view 100%. ICE F*CK UP BIG on this one. Watch his video and decide for yourselves.

My point of view, and it hasn't changed, is that Pretti was legally but stupidly carrying, he went to interfere, and everything was on the up and up between him and agents, right up until someone for whatever reason shot him. I believe the second shot was an agent reacting to the first shot. Still not right, but at least that one is explainable. I think that one agent is rightfully in deep do-do, and a second agent is in trouble as well but not as deep.

"Self-Defense and Tactics" was the one he moderated. He opened it up with two posts that are pinned, and you can still read them. One was on posting, and one on thread drifts. Many of us knew we were in trouble with the thread drifts, because we have always lived for the thread drifts, and Robby Boy has zero sense of humor.

I may have watched part of a Pincus video once, but I almost certainly never read anything he posted. If I did it had no impact. Everything I've heard about him sounds like he supports the Second Amendment, except he thinks it's okay for the government to infringe upon it. ::)  Is he pro-gun or anti-freedom? He should pick a side and stay with it.

He's OK with the parts he can use to make money....as in mandatory training requirements in order to CCW....with routine required training intervals....etc.

Mike, as it turns out he wasn't carrying legally, under the state law if you carry either open or concealed you must have your ID and permit with you. He had neither.

He did have his ID. They found it on him quickly. As far as the permit, I'm not sure if it was with his ID or not, but if your permit is current, it is just a $25 fine and normally not cited or if cited thrown out. Regardless, legally carrying or not, that had no bearing on the course of events. When he ignored commands he ramped thing up, and when he laid hands on the agent he was going down, when they found an unexpected gun natural instinct flared. This is the point where it went off the rails. The shot fired. The shot heard 'round the world. This shot should not have happened. The officers' only hope are that that Sig was one of the flawed ones and it went off on its own. However, the video does not indicate that. Many say it did, but if you are loosely holding a 9mm pistol and it goes boom on its own, the reflex action is going to show a lot of movement and even dropping the gun.

The cop who yelled, he's got a gun, when it was in his holster and not his hand seems to be the biggest factor in causing the situation. Other than Alex Pretti just being there, which he had every right to do. So, once again a couple of cowboys cops murder an unarmed man. If this intensive care nurse had been black instead of white, half the country would be on fire, and the National Guard would be called out by now to stop the looting. Where's all the outrage when the cops kill a white man? Seriously.

Good idea.
