There are eighteen super Wally Worlds within thirty minutes of where I live and none of them sell firearms anymore.  With the exception of a few other stores, they have put most everyone out of business in our town so in some respects, I have no other choice but to cave in and shop there.  Their ammo inventory is really pathetic anyway...

On the Bass Pro front, we have but one and they charge retail for all of their firearms and will not reduce the price unless the manufacturer allows them to do so!  That leaves the local guy up the street for me.  He and his lovely wife were more than willing to reduce the price if I paid cash and were several hundred dollars under the MSRP for my pistols and gave me other discounts as well.  Since they opened last August, myself, my daughter and her boyfriend have bought five handguns from them and will continue to do so in the future.

I guess we are one of the lucky ones but there are several gun shops near me that I won't even walk into because of the way they do business.

Wal-Mart is the only company I know of that's been sued for breaking anti-slavery laws in the 21st century IN THE U.S. If anyone needs another reason not to shop there, is forcing your fellow Americans to work without pay a good enough reason? I shop everywhere except Wal-Mart.

I used to get some ammo mail-order from CheapShot but I think they went out of business. Now I go to several local stores, and get it from places like Sportsman's Guide too, except for .357 Maximum. I got most of that at Reed's Ammo, and don't remember where I got the other brand.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

I buy my guns from the little guys, but ammo from wherever is cheapest.  If the little guy is close in price, I will pay a little more, but most often the liitle guy is nowhere close on ammo.  On common calibers WalMart is hard to beat, but only the little guy has 8mm Mauser, .303 British, etc.

I do buy my reloading bullets from little guys online.

In a word.....NO.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
