In protest of Obama --- How about a DRTV AR giveaway
« on: November 11, 2008, 08:19:36 AM »
Michael mentions in his blog about what we personally need to be doing in this post election time period:

Quote
• Buy an AR and become a person who has a personal stake in the outcome of the coming battle.
• If you already own an AR, buy another one. The more "black rifles" in general circulation, the better.

http://michaelbane.blogspot.com/2008/11/moving-on.html

Well, I dont have an extra $1,000+ to buy my first AR, so will someone please buy one for me!

Michael, Marshal, M'ette..... Im talking to you guys here..... lets do an AR giveaway so that I can have my first "evil black rifle", and so I can become a person who has a personal stake in the battle.

..... and make mine a .243 (DPMS makes em in that caliber). Yeah, 7.62 may be the best all around battle rifle caliber, but if I were going to buy an AR right now, I would probably have to go with a .243

I've been wanting an AR for some time.  Been seeing good reviews of the 6.5 Grendel on Military channel.  Sign me up too!!

I have no problem with the post, and I bought a raffle ticket from someone else on here one time ... he promised me it was the winner ... DAMN  LIAR  ;)  I hope it helped the kids activities.

However, let me point out a little gun porn etiquette.  You can cut the heads off your kids, and the hooves off your horses, but never never cut the muzzle (or any other part) off a gun picture!
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

Sorry M58. Don’t shoot the photographer. :-[ I missed the bag that the GUN COUNTER ;) guy moved there. There is no front sight on the barrel. By the way, all the tickets are winners, its just you only win if your ticket stub matches the ONE that is drawn. OK! You can order some NOW :) Thanks.

Reputable dealers still have AR varients for less than $1000.00. Good ol' S&W M+P 15, works. built pretty much on STAG specs.

2nd site has others DPMS, receivers, lowers, etc,.. still have time to get a build going for a great price.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."

In response to those of you who asked about our range expansion at the Mission Valley Shooting Club, here is our plan. This year we are adding a new 50 yard pistol range. This will be set up with both steel and paper targets. This will move the hand gun people off the rifle range; witch will make both parties happy. It will also give our local law enforcement a nice range to train at rather than the gravel pit. The Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks has given the club a grant for 50% of the cost. We have to come up with the balance. Next year we would like to build a new covered 22rimefire range. Thanks for your interest. MVSC
