Woman Shot After Man Drops Gun In Store
Man Says He Never Carried Pistol In Public Before

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville, Fla., woman waiting in line at a grocery store was shot when the man in front of her dropped a gun.

Seventy-year-old Flossie Mae Bell told police she was waiting to check out Friday afternoon when the man dropped a leather pouch and she felt a sudden pain in her leg. A store worker said he heard a loud pop.

Bell was treated at a local hospital.

Sixty-seven-year-old Woodrow Monlyn Jr. was arrested in connection with carrying a concealed firearm. He told police he had never carried the .25-caliber pistol in public before and didn't know he needed a permit.

Well, sometimes you the windshield.......sometimes you the bug.    ;)
"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
