White label! Remember generic beer? The beer  had a green tinge, not the bottle...

Back in my high school days there was a grocery store in town with a 'generic' aisle. Everything was packaged in white packages with black writing.
And yes, they had the dreaded generic beer........first beer I ever tried (had a friend that worked there).
After trying the beer, I questioned the 'friend' part.

Someone told me that cats can indeed fly but they don't land on their feet if you put enough spin on them. That's just not right.  :(

They don't do too well when you shoot 'em out of a cannon either.  ;)

Just kidding.

That reminds me of the cat I found hiding in the shed one afternoon in December several years ago ::)

I couldn't figure out what could be wrong with it ???  It had several large ... really large patches of fur missing and seemed to be dazed and confused (more than the average Haz ... er ... cat)  ???

We knew that there had been a large problem with rabies the previous year, and even though we were well into the hibernation season skunks were still out and about.  A skunk out in the day time ain't good, and to see one in the daytime and winter is really bad.  Was this cat a victim or what ???

Then it dawned on me ... The day before when I was blowing snow the dogs had been chasing rabbits and each other all over the yard.  As I pushed through a drift one of the dogs, right behind a gray streak, went right in front of the blower.  I heard a thump, pfffffft, and I saw something dark in the snow.  I thought I had shredded a dog, but he came running around the other side.  I soon came to believe that it was a cat that went through.

I'm not a cat lover, but this cat became a house cat to recover for the winter.  Anything that can survive a pair of feeder augers and a 24" fan running at 1000 rpm, all being pushed by 135 hp deserves a second chance :o
