Does your Senator know your voice?
« on: February 08, 2009, 07:52:51 PM »
Hello everyone, I thank you for taking time to read this post.  I want to urge you to please contact your Senator(s) and voice opposition to the current administration’s Stimulus plan.  If you believe spending 800 billion dollars to fix something that will fix itself then thank you for reading this post and I am sorry you feel that way.  If you are like me and are outraged that government will continue to throw more of our money down the drain please utilize Mike Huckabee’s website link to find contact information for your state Senator(s).   Please do this first thing this Monday to allow your voice to be heard.  If the person on the other end does not sound enthused to hear you, don’t give it two seconds thought.  The point is that they are to tell their boss, your Senator what the people are saying.   Call and let them hear you, please stand up with us and bring back direction to our country.

Though defensive violence will always be 'a sad necessity' in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men. Saint Augustine

Mother Teresa, Roman Catholic nun
"It's the greatest poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish."

"The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution."
-Abraham Lincoln (17 September 1859, speech in Cincinnati, OH)

"There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but he must do it because conscience tells him it is right." — Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King

I have had very good feedback from my Congressmen and there voting records have been consistent with my views.
It is frustrating though to live in a solid Red state and Congressional District and see the Liberals in complete control and not caring about their constituents thoughts (look at the polls on this stimulus package) let alone what I think.

Pease write or call your Congressmen on what ever the issue and support the NRA!

I have a stack of reply letters from all my elected officials.
I write often.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

"When it comes to the enemy, just because they ain't pullin' a trigger, doesn't mean they ain't totin' ammo for those that are."~PegLeg

I write both of them a couple times a week.  By the way, Florida is 7 to 1 against the "Stimulus" according to Fox News..
Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. - George Washington

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

That's pretty close to the 6 to 1 against nationally.  However, congress doesn't care what the constituents think anymore...

One web site I utilize to find out which of our Constutional Rights our illustrious leaders are trying to take away is:
www.congress.org  This site has both Senate & Congressional bills & where they are in the process. Check them out
