Well, the results are in. At 100 yards with a good rest and an old Simmons 3x9x40, the high priced Win. loads went into a one and a half inch group. The el cheapo Rem. loads where close to an inch. The best group with the cheap stuff was just under an inch, but that was just one group. The other three groups of three were right at an inch. The best group of Win. loads was just over an inch and the worst was my fault at about two inches. Still, I think it's a good old gun. Did you know these have 14 locking lugs - seven on each side of the bolt. It is a bit rough on the shoulder. After 50 rounds, I was done shooting this .06 for a while. I switched to the .22 mag. By the way, the 22 mag was not nearly as accurate.
