Marshal watched it Saturday and he cried.
I was gone so he taped it and I will watch it sometime this week.
he said it was awesome.

It truly is one of the few movies out of Hollywood, that did this subject right.

Historical War time films used to be this way,... I haven't been "moved" by a movie in a long time,... this one did.

As I and others have posted, it comes down to Honor, Respect, and Duty. Not some political message like Sean Penn who won an Oscar last night for portraying a gay politician.

MacArthur left out one thing,... the families of the fallen. Their wounds and scars run deep as well. This movie pays a fine tribute.

Preordered it today. Hollywood sometimes screws up and makes a good film, this looked like one of their bigger screwups.  ;)

The previews for it looked very good, I had a lump in my throat from watching it. I have had the honor and misfortune of being a pallbearer at too many soldiers funerals in the last few years, so I don't think I will be seeing it anytime soon, but I think it is an important topic for us.
