It truly is one of the few movies out of Hollywood, that did this subject right.
Historical War time films used to be this way,... I haven't been "moved" by a movie in a long time,... this one did.
As I and others have posted, it comes down to Honor, Respect, and Duty. Not some political message like Sean Penn who won an Oscar last night for portraying a gay politician.

MacArthur left out one thing,... the families of the fallen. Their wounds and scars run deep as well. This movie pays a fine tribute.
