Like Rastus, retired and drawing down.

My retirement funds (403s and 401s) are still set for moderate growth.  Miss Kitty and I are drawing those down to zero on a 20year plan.  Enjoy the money, travel, etc.  The idea is that until we're 90 we can/will travel as much as we like.  After that it'll be more stay-at-home life.   My non-retirement funds I hope not to touch the principal so I can leave it to the kids.   If adjust those funds to stocks and funds that have both growth and dividend potential.  Sonovus, Exxon, Global Payments to name a few.

Hopefully these funds will increase along with inflation.

That's pretty much our plan as well. 2 of my bigger funds will run dry when I'm 92..... Somewhere around 2045. Assuming I even make it that long. After that it will most likely to be an accomplishment to make to to the john without messing myself.
A recent study has shown 1 out of 3 liberals are as stupid as the other 2.

My concern is the big drop.  I see a fork in the road.  If the commies (aka demoncrats) take over it's over.  The plans the left has will deprive anyone who worked and saved of what they earned.  Or, the demoncrats lose elections (right...cheating bastards) and people turn right.  On one side what is saved doesn't matter...hell, the state may end up owning your house...and on the other side the damage may take a decade or two to repair.  Either option is not good for anyone especially old people.  I guess we are to blame though...for not whipping ass when we should have.

I think having something real like land is good for the better of the two options.  Having enough gold and silver to pay the property taxes would be a good idea.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom.
It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.

It was our parents who dropped the ball by allowing the HUAC to be dissolved and not allowing J. Edgar to crush communism in the US.
The democrats fought to get CPUSA legalized in America.

As you may know I'm picky.  Well my revolvers are picky.  So I prefer to shoot American Eagle 147gr 9mm.  I'll take 115gr but the revolvers and the Glock group so much better with 147 gr.

Some of the bulk dealers have some AE now but for ~$0.80/rnd.   I'll pass.

The good news. The light at the end of the tunnel, my LGS has them now, limit 2 boxes, in stock for range users.  $0.62/rd for the 115gr and $0.66/rd for the 147gr.   No I didn't buy any, but it's a good sign.

Seems like some of the gun prices are getting a little less ridiculous as well.

I was helping a friend clean out his garage and I stumbled on two spam cans of 7.62x 54r. My friend Bobby said I could have them since he doesn’t own a rifle that could shoot it. He’s not sure how he got them. I’m just happy to have it.

The Wal-Mart here still rarely has ANY 12 gauge ammo. I'm hoping that will get better as the long hot desert Summer ensues. People out here don't care to shoot outdoors when it's 120 F in the shade. I still have well over half a ton of shot, 32 pounds of powder, and several cases of wads. Not to mention around 10,000 #209 shotshell primers.

I'm seriously thinking about selling them off at these incredible prices, and just buy ammo from here on out. The only problem is I have to do one before I can do the other. Then I'll be left without either ammo OR reloading supplies. That's not an advantageous position to be in at this, or any other time.

Friend of mine was in Cabela's the other day.
Their entire ammo inventory was 2 boxes of 44 Mag.
