I got my 2,000+ rounds of bulk .22 ammo today. But it wasn't all .22 ammo. There was an old .22 bullet, 2 fired .22 cases, a BBCap, and something
even smaller than that, a blank I guess, 6 .223(?) caliber rifle bullets, and 7 rounds of .25 ACP, 5 FMJs and 2 of these Expanding Points that don't expand. Those have one pellet of #8 steel shot in the nose. WTH am I supposed to do with.25 ACP ammo? They sold it by weight and I might be a little shy of 2,000 rounds after I took the .25 ammo, .223 bullets, and trash out. I have more blanks and .22 Shorts than I expected, and only 2 .22 WMR, but I knew there was a possibility of getting any amount of any .22 rimfire that was mostly .22 LR. I need to take a closer look at it and pick out the remaining .22 Longs. I don't expect them to cycle my Mark I or Mk II pistol, or my 10/22 carbine, but my NAA Mini can eat it all. I have some CCI rat shot in the bunch and some things that may be blanks but could also be Ramset power loads. Some look like they're .22 LR crimped blanks with a shoulder down low that will fit in a .22 Short.

Some of the crimped cases my be blanks or rat shot. I thought I shot a blank in my mom and dad's basement a LONG time ago and heard pellets flying across the room hitting things.

I just chalk that up to s**t happens, and that's not what I expected to find in the gun cabinet.
