Welcome new guys!

Many of you admit to watching for a while before jumping in ... all I can say is What the hell were you thinking?

I can understand the innocent bystander that jumps in, but to research and still want to hang out in here  ;)

Seriously, join the fun, and if we step on your toes give us a little time before you leave us.  We are really just a bunch of rude, crude, redneck assholes (except M'ette and Squibby of course) that enjoy guns, bullets, our freedoms, and each others shoulders to cry on in times of stress.

We have had members suffer and we have lost at least one very good friend.  I have found this group to be another great group of friends and family ... Enjoy!
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

NooB here.

I haven't seen enough IOWANS on here so I thought I needed to represent a little.  Eastern Iowa.. Between Iowa City and the Quad Cities for all of you that don't even know where Iowa is at.  NWIA is some awesome country though.. Had a friend in the Cherokee area for awhile.  He has left but I still have friends up that way that I don't get to see nearly enough.  This thread by far has been one of the most enjoyable to read.  Best thing about Iowa?  Depends on what county you live in is how nice or communist it is to live. (until the "shall issue" is passed)  Used to work for a Great county that I still train with.  Now I'm in the neighboring county that is closer to the QCA but still country enough to Issue to most people.

So many things I could comment on in the rest of the thread but I have learn in my young 28 years it is better to just keep your comments to yourself sometimes when you're new.

Have a Good Day All!!

Nice to see a fellow Iowegian on here!!!!

I love waking up every morning knowing that Donald Trump is President!!

Me, I was born, raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico, The Land of Enchantment.  I left and lived other places, California and Texas and returned to New Mexico.  Lived for 25 years in Albuquerque and finally after 32 came back home.  Why?  I have seen 90% of the US, lived in the Panhandle of Texas, El Paso.  Love the Northwest and eastern Tennessee.  But I love to see where I am going and be able to see up to 100 miles away.  I get claustrophobic when I can't see past the line of tress at the edge of the road or waiting to see dinousars coming out of the swamps.  I have also been to Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Phillipines, Thailand and Hong Kong.  Awesome but no place like home.  Love my desert.  Nothing like being out in the desert riding my horse.

Why DM, whatevah do you mean?

 ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

I'm from the central Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.  Visited other places, come home everytime.  I love the green of the mountains in the spring and the colors of the fall.

Traveled through Virginia a few times and will agree it is some mighty fine lookin' scenery.

Everyone:

Since November, I have made seveal purchases.  I have a CZ 75B, a Taurus Judge, Taurus 357 mag, and a Mossberg 930 shotgun.  My next purchase will be a 1911 or a Mossberg 590 variant.  Any suggestions?

Thanks
John

Since you've got one Mossberg, get the 1911......or.......Get both...... :D
