No offense mate, but I think standing upside down, down there has gotten to you, all that blod rushing to your head and all
. The one thing you need to know about America is that our wing nuts love a good conspiracy theory. This seems more prevalent on the right than the left, but the lefties are no slouches either. Its been that way since the beggining of the Republic. Got laid off? The wife getting uppity? The kids turning queer and the dogs looking at you funny? Not to worry! Its the witches,Masons, Catholics, Irishmen, abolitionist race mixers, the slave power conspiracy, the Crown, the reds, the jews (can't forget the jews in any good conspiracy theory [just ask Mel Gibson] and bonus points if the house of Rothschild gets mentioned), the Mexican irrendentists reclaiming "Azatlan", the UN, the drug cartels, the New World Order, or if all else fails the Anti-Christ his ownself. Insert two or more of the following and you've got a website. Add three and some ersatz history and a book deal will folow, maybe a movie if you can quote Bible phrophesy. Its just an American didease. There's a great classic book called "The Paranoid Style In American Politics" by Richard Hoffstadter. It was written in the fifties and traces the writings of these whack jobs. The funny thing is that the narrative is exactly the same, the only thing that changes is the name of the bad guys. Its always what happens in times of economic and social upheaval here in the US of A. Othere countries riot, we put on tinfoil hats and wait for the End Times. As Hunter S Thompson put it, "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro". Its just an American thing, no worries.

Quaker,
I haven't read where you provide
any evidence that any of the claims made by this film is a fraud or hoax. Instead of casting aspersions, why don't you watch it, research the claims made, and post your research and shut up Alex Jones, and those like him, once and for all?
I have researched some of what he has said, and can say that based upon what I have looked at I can say he has some credibility, though I am still skeptical of other things he says.
In case you missed it, the Prime Minister of England, Gordon Brown, has called for a "new world order" or a one world governing body that will help synchronize the financial systems of the world. Not long after, Vladimir Putin called for a universal currency that would replace the U.S. dollar as the de facto universal currency. Next, the Chi-coms echoed the same sentiment. And lastly, our own treasury secretary says he thinks that may be a good idea too. What's wrong with creating this financial "Tower of Babel"? Think about it: one universal governing body controlling all of the world's economies. By extension, that means controlling you and I.
The really sophisticated people like you will dismiss all of this as just another paranoid delusion by some troglodytes who probably should be put into those alleged FEMA camps anyway.....
