I too am a CZ fan. I currently have an old cz75 with no import marks. It is the military model with lanyard ring and baked painted black finish. Very slick action, I changed the rear sight and did a single action trigger job and just shoot it. It really likes 124 grain Israely carbine ammo.  Another cz i have is an 83, .380, lot of features for the money, dot sights, ambi safety and mag release. Shoots really well, as good as my walther PP did. I had an 85c and it was really nice, but a friend had a Sako Finnbear in .338 win mag, in a McMillan stock he offered to trade with a little boot money and I could not refuse. Next is my 527 european .223 rifle with detachable mag and single set trigger. It shoots great and is a joy to carry. Last I have a cz617 .17 HMR semi auto, it had problems at first but the warranty station happened to be very close to me and they have made it better, but would not tell me the fix. It was blowing out case heads and not extracting, when I called the gunshop and asked if they had seen this, there was a pause and then yeah, as a matter of fact we are the beta shop for coming up with a fix. It runs pretty well now and I've not put the required 200 rounds through it before I bring it back.

Yeah, I gots me some CZ love.

CZ is my favorite semi-auto pistol maker.  I swear by my 75B and P-01.  Thousands of trouble-free, accurate rounds.

I'd love to see CZ pistols featured on DRTV, or elsewhere in the sprawling Bane Media Empire.  Am very interested in CZ's forthcoming P-06 (a P-01 in .40 S&W!).  That might just be my first .40.

I have a witness limited, made by Tangfoglio.  Basically a customized CZ.  The design of the CZ is just awsome, nothing feels as comfortable in my hand as it does.  Makes it a breeze to bring to target quickly.  After literally thousands of rounds, can't hardly remember but a few ftf's and those were reloads.  Anybody gets a chance to handle one, do so... you'll probably end up with one.

Angus Hobdell practically grabbed me and shook me at the Steel Challenge to get me to promise to do some stuff on CZ!

Who can say no to Angus?

No, wait...don't answer that!

I've always liked CZs...I shot some IPSC with one of the old gray market guns from Canada in years past, and I'm always surprised at how well they feel in your hand.

Our pal Milan designed the RAMI, and I shot the proto a bunch when I was in the Czech Republic...that is, when I wasn't swilling the pocal pilsner and ogling the women...

There is a great video with a CZ in it without sights. D.R. Middlebrooks uses one very well for you CZ fans.

Years ago, I rented/borrowed as many different 9mm evil bottom feeders as I could, and let my new bride select her .25 Beretta's replacement. She picked the CZ-75B. I bought her one from my nearest pusher - it came with the nice thumbrest grips and both a high and a 10 count mag - I soon had more aftermarket 15 rd-ers (Cabela's!). My wife started giving it an accelerated life-test, shooting hundreds of UMC or Blazers at every range trip. It never hiccupped... a fine performer. It shot to point of aim at 12-20yd. I never tried it for SPC, sad to say, as I couldn't leave the purity of the round gun. During the previous run of SPC at the local range, I, with mt .45 ACP 625, was properly dispatched by a CZ-75 in a shoot-off. Sadly, my wife tired of the CZ, and we sold it to a friend. The first week found it's new owner severing the take-down pin/slide stop - and learning that they were a problem in that run of '75's. His arthritis worsened, and he traded it due to the difficulty he had working the slide. I offered to respring it, but he wanted a Beretta '92... got one... loves it...  it's easier to work - hopes it will one day be as good - and as accurate - as his 'old '75'. If I break my recent trend of 'revolvers only' and buy another evil-bottom-feeder, it'll be either a CZ-97B (.45 ACP '75!) - or another CZ-75.

Of course, I have had CZ's for years - well before the '75 - but they are all CZ-452's - .22LR - 'Special', 'Trainer', and 'Super Exclusives'. My long guns are now an assortment of them - and a Puma M1892. I have NEVER been less than completely satisfied with a CZ product.
