Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

This is from a friend of mine.  Great guy, plays in a local band, blues/rock.

song called "Ascend to Heaven", and a tribute to my late son PFC Tyler Ryan MacKenzie who served with the 101st Aibourne and was killed with two other fine young soldiers by an ied Nov. 2, 2005. its an instrumental, and represents the changing from human body to ...the spiritual side when we pass on. hopefully you enjoy it. just a late night journey i took.
