I know we tend to try to avoid religion but since it's Easter and songs where people genunely throw everything they have into a song lifts my spirits I'm just throwing it out there ignore it if you want  but this version of is amazing "Up from the Grave He Arose."

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

I got to see Joan Jett and Kellie Pickler here in the land of sand on a USO show. Both class acts.

Quote
Chart topping UK singer Adele pulled out of singing (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman at the 11th hour, citing illness that stopped her hitting her higher register.
With less than an hour to rehearse the song, Goodrem stepped in and received a standing ovation from the crowd for the song made famous by Aretha Franklin.

I like this a bit better than Bowie's version.

""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783
