They play I Need A Dollar on a comercial for something. I can't remember what they were selling.

its rare that I like a remake over an original. This is doubly true if its a classic country tune sung by the likes of Tennesee Ernie Ford and remade by a soul singer. But here, I have to say that Candi Staton took a good old school country song and made it into something magical. Its called "She (he) Called Me Baby, Baby All Night Long". Enjoy.

Lately I've been listening to Sky FM on Winamp. If you don't have Winamp you can listen at their website. The '80s and smooth jazz channels are really good if you're into that. I haven't listened to all the other channels.  http://www.sky.fm/

I guess I'm in a maudlin mood, but here is a little known classic from Willie and Waylon. "Ride Me Down Easy". And if that ain't country you can kiss my ass. ;)

Well, youtube won't let me embedd this one. Sorry about that. But if you want to hear a serious Willie tune, click on the link. It won't dissapoint.
