Post some of your stuff, man. I'd offer up some Guy Forsyth in return but the girlfriend took those CDs. A cold hearted bitch, but she did have good taste. ;D

Sometimes when I'm down this song is all I need.

Very appropriate for the DRTV forum..Gun Porn is a bonus.

Thomas Jefferson: The strongest reason for the people to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny of government. That is why our masters in Washington are so anxious to disarm us. They are not afraid of criminals. They are afraid of a populace which cannot be subdued by tyrants."
Col. Jeff Cooper.

"I expect perdition, I always have. I keep this building at my back, and several guns handy, in case perdition arrives in a form that's susceptible to bullets. I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo

For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison

Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. The only thing you can’t do is ignore them

Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest.

I am so very impressed with the selections you guys have chosen, Stevie Ray, ZZ top, Robert Earl keen, these are Texas peeps, and I love them as well, John Lee Hooker, I'm bad like Jesse James, I only know one person who knows that tune, until now.Now to harder selections, since you guys have done so well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jKHJlBYhSE&feature=related Not Patsy, but Johnny Gimble is a Texas Icon, I think you will enjoy.

If I could only have 1 CD/Album/tape it would be Patsy Cline, 2  Patsy/Stevie Ray, 3 now we have problems, metallica, guns and roses, johnny cash etc...

M25 operator, you want Texas, I'll give you Texas. I was at the last concert Townes Van Zandt performed. (about my 12th) at the Cactus at UT. To quote Jerry Jeff Walker "Townes was the best song writer in America and I'll stand on Bob Dylan's coffee table in my cowboy boots and scream it!". Most of his stuff has been taken off youtube, but there is a sweet rendition of Flying Shoes done by Lyle Lovett thats worth a listen. I'm offering that, but Operator, what I've got here is Townes and Blaze Foley doing a duet of "Snow'n on Raton". If you can get more Texas than that I'll kiss your ass. ;D
FQ13 who is really missing Austin
PS a bonus track of Townes singing Pancho and Lefty that is still up :D
