A song for memorial day. A song for a new 2nd Lt. who died in the line due to an accident  a few months after being comissioned. They played this at her funeral. Not uplifting, but a good remberance for a fine young officer :'(

A song Green Mt. Gringo SHOULD have posted. South Texas Girl. This is by Lyle Lovett rather than Guy Clark, but close enough for government work (sort of, Lyle means well).







BUT here's a bonus a bonus track from the man himself, Guy Clark, and did I every mention how much I miss Tx.?
One of the best songs written in my humble opinion, Dublin Blues, If it gets better, please let me know, cause this is the real damn deal and if this doesn't work for you I don't know what to offer. ;D

Well, I was looking for "Their Ain't No Easy Way", but I stumbled across this one instead.  This one would have been appropriate for Memorial Day, but better late than never.  Wow, just gotta love Darrell Scott.

This song makes me feel a warm inside.  Just started listening to his music a couple of days ago, sad thing is he's one of my cousins I don't know. :P  Playing pool with some guys and a fellow mentioned him, when I said I was related but didn't take to his music I thought he was going to take a swing at me. ;D
