"If an American citizen has a right to carry a firearm in their state, it makes no sense to treat them like a criminal if they pass through a national park while in possession of a firearm," Coburn said.
If the measure becomes law "it would not only put park visitors and wildlife at risk, it would change the character and the peaceful and safe atmosphere in our parks," Faehner said.
It would change it to a safer and even MORE PEACEFUL PARK YOU DUMB ASS!. An armed park is a polite park.
Criminals already illegally carry in a park, with nothing but bad intentions. This is for the law abiding citizens that want to enjoy the great outdoors without any schmuck on 2 or 4 legs ruining my damn little time I have to enjoy with my family.
Someone please smack this person, Faehner.
