I love that Mare's Leg.
On another point. A friend of mine that is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced people that I know when it comes to firearms in general and is what I consider an expert in anything reloading and bullet casting believes that the .357 in a carbine is great. I defer to his knowledge and experience. A lever gun in .38/.357 is very versatile. Milder loads for plinking and small game to hotter loads for SD and larger game. I would love to have a lever gun in .357, 44, or .45 Colt. The pistol round carbines are fun.
