If the Glock doesn't fit, it doesn't fit (though have you shot one?). My advice (not knowing your budget) is to do two things. One decide what is important to you beyond the obvious of concealability and realibity, make a list and see what fills the bill. Then travel as far as you have to one Saturday to rent a few on a range that has some reasonable candidates (Glock, Springfeild, 1911's, Sig etc.). Spend what it costs to rent and shoot them (the money should be refunded if you buy there). If even if you don't, its still money well spent before dropping five or six hundred bucks. Just my .02.
