Appreciate the thoughts guys, but no injuries. Maybe some pride was hurt. But that's only because some idiot tried to drive through 3 feet of water in a Volvo. We had a lot of property damage, but no one hurt. Hard to believe we had THAT much water in less than an hour.
Glad no one was injured......pride will heal.
Take care.
Water rises quickly...even if it ain't raining where you are at the time.
Just last week we had three guys get trapped on some rocks in the middle of the Flint River about 35 miles from me. They waded out to do some fishing in the middle and an hour later they were trapped and had to be rescued from rising water. I heard it was due to a combination of some up-river rain an a spillway release.

I expect it will come in the disease form, though. I'm susceptible to diseases, and you can't shoot a damned disease." ~ Judge Roy Bean, Streets of Laredo
For the Patriots of this country, the Constitution is second only to the Bible for most. For those who love this country, but do not share my personal beliefs, it is their Bible. To them nothing comes before the Constitution of these United States of America. For this we are all labeled potential terrorists. ~ Dean Garrison
