I know that Duke Nukem Forever has supposedly been in development since 1997 and will be done when it's done. My daughter was going to pre-school with Rob Pardo from Blizzard's kids this past year, so I got some inside dope. I live right by Blizzard. They have a sweet cafeteria.

Is there any more news on Duke?

Basically Duke Nukem, right now, represents everything that's wrong with the gaming industry.  3D Realms, in Dallas, and Take Two Interactive have been screwing each other for over a decade on Forever.  Somebody's suing somebody for twelve million dollars, because 3D Realms, the developer, hasn't delivered the product to Take Two, the publisher.  So Take Two pulled all of their money and 3D Realms is virtually no more,  and Duke Nukem Forever is canceled.  Maybe somebody else will pick up the title, but there's no telling.

I've worked with a couple of Blizzard guys, and they've all had nothing but the best to say about Blizzard.  The company's building is the greatest, because they expect you to live there. ;D  And trust me, sleeping in a studio sucks, but all that good stuff could help.  See if you can sneak in there and grab me some free posters and shirts. ;)

Damn, I forgot all about Mechwarrior! Haven't played that in a while, I bought a Joystick controller just to play that game with too. Hmmm, might have to install and give it another crack. If anybody wants to frag each other online, let me know what game and we can set up some time to play.

Any one ever play "Urban Terror" It doesn't  always run well on my computer but when it does it's fun if you don't mind waiting to get into a game.
Also used to play Sony's Tanarus when it was free, that was a blast ;D

Ah Mechwarrior, that was a cool game!

I liked the 1st Wolfenstein, Warcraft 2, Total Annihilation, and my favorite was Operation Flashpoint.
