They way I read this is she should have got in her car and driven away instead of pulling the gun. What is it we learn in regards to self defense? Awareness, AVOIDANCE,....
She had the opportunity to avoid but chose to pull the gun instead. That is brandishing in this state and will lose her the right to possess that firearm as well as some time in the county jail and anger management courses.
