You forgot putting the ones who hire them in jail, or levying such a heavy fine that it outweighs the benefits by far, but otherwise a good list. Except for the school part, because I dont believe in punishing children for the sins of their parents, and we aren't going to kick them out I don't want them ignorant and illeterate.. Think either party will strap on thier balls and do it?

You're half wrong Tom. Don't hang the illegals, they are just poor folks willing to work hard for cheap. Hang the folks that hire them instead. Otherwise it will be just like the war on drugs. As long as there is  demand there will be a supply. Its the employers who are selling out their fellow citizens by preferig to pay a substandard wage to an illegal rather than hiring their neighbor. They do it knowingly and they do it out of greed. They are selling out the coutry for short term gain.THESE are the criminals.

PS Everytime we buy something made in China we do the same. Yeah, we save money now, but at the cost our manufacturing infra-structure, good paying jobs and the ability of our nation to lead. This a nation couldn't be conquered, but we are willingly selling it for pennies on the dollar.

I sympathize with the illegals. I know that I'm lucky to have been born here and if I lived in Mexico or any of the other corrupt, broke-ass countries in central and South America, I'd be coming here. Especially as a father. That being said it doesn't make it OK for them to break the law and be here illegally. I think the solution to the problem of illegal aliens is to make it so that employers who do get caught using illegals for labor should have to pay ALL of the medical and welfare for the illegals. I don't think that the small percentage of employers that get caught could float the bill for ALL of the aliens. If that doesn't work, shut the companies down and throw the owners in jail, or ship them to Mexico. That would have been something if Walmart would have got shut down after they got caught.

American schools are paid for with American tax dollars for the benefit of American Citizens. Most of the little hoodlums drop out and join gangs anyway. If they want education they can go back to Mexico and get one since there's so many that don't even speak English.

I've got NO SYMPATHY  for the job stealing bastards. Mexico is a bankrupt shithole so millions of them leave there, jump the fence and come here to mooch off OUR success, now Ca. is a bankrupt shithole, do I see a trend starting here ? Come to think of it Spain, where the original "Hispanics" came from was a bankrupt shithole too. One of those things that makes you say HMMM.

I usually stay out of politics and religion on an internet site not devoted to them but since some may consider me an enabler I thought I would post a true story about my experiences:

I am a general contractor who has worked in this area for 24 years and has experienced the changes that have taken place in the labor pool in the construction industry.  I don’t like having undocumented workers on my jobsites.  None are on my payroll.  Lately, in some of the semi-skilled trades (those that don’t require a license) that is about all that is available as the undocumented labor has forced the honest American workers, and honest legal aliens out of business.

The following is an example of the way it works in my neck of the woods:  I contract with a nationally known company to furnish and install vinyl siding.  They send out a crew.  This crew is owned and managed by a legal alien who has seven crews with a mix of legal and mostly illegals that may or may not be replaced by other workers the next day.  The nationally known company sends the owner of the siding company a IRS form 1099.  That way they do not have to withhold taxes and Social Security.  The legal alien boss sends each of his workers a 1099 so he doesn’t have to deduct taxes or Social Security.  I asked one of the workers who could speak English one day about paying taxes. If the Postal Service or his employer hands him one, he throws his 1099 away. He said he didn’t pay taxes and was only mildly worried about getting caught.  He could always skip back south and come back with a different name. 

The honest guys can’t compete with this type of practice.  That is why in recent years there are so few legals available to hire.  The illegals, even if they are paid less, take home more money.  This practice of abuse of 1099s is not new.  It is only in recent years that it is to the level that something needs to be done.

There are other issues dealing with workers comp insurance, obtaining a drivers license, and ways to access our healthcare and social benefits but these are another topic.

Here in Phoenix we have "The Toughest Sheriff In America". His name is Joe Arpaio. He frequently conducts "Sweeps" looking for, and arresting illegal invaders here in Maricopa County. He has everyone on his a$$ for doing it. Our Mayor Phil Gordon is totally sympathetic to these people and wants Arpaio to stop it. As does our former governor Janet Napolitano.

They whine about his "racial profiling". Tell me, what does an illegal Mexican look like? It's not like they're hard to spot. Both Gordon and Napolitano are hard core democrats. Arpaio is a Republican. That in itself tells you all you need to know. Democrats are going to turn this country into a third world nation if left unchecked. They want these illegal invaders here by the millions so they can make all of them registered democrats, thereby giving them a block of voters that will keep them in power for decades to come. They'll make every white citizen in this country pay the price for it. All of it is total nonsense and needs to be stopped.  Bill T.

People get the government that they ELECT. If the sheriff's politics are so popular, why is the mayor and the governor from the opposite spectrum? Remember, this is the state of John McCain, the ultimate enabler. Or maybe you forgot his Amnesty Bill.

Actually, in this context , yes. McCain ran as a Republican which carries connotations of certain principles, and morals that his record do not bear out. BO on the other hand ran as a Democrat and that carries the connotations of elitist socialist asshole which he is bearing out in spades.
