Good find, GMG!

Wayne LaPierre stayed on point with lefty Andrea Mitchel.  Slapped her pretty well!

I love seeing Wayne speak.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Letter to Alexander Hamilton, Friday, May 02, 1783

Biggest slap would have been to mention not the 40 states with CCW - but the 50 states that recognize each others drivers licenses, without the dreaded "loss of states rights" that bonehead Mitchell talked about.

Wayne LaPierre is a class act and champion deliverer of message.  Plus, unlike our current POTUS he can craft his own message and think on his feet.  Mr. LaPierre knows how to keep the subject the subject and not muddy it down.

Path, I have used the comparison to driver's license with others, and it seems to destroy the debate.  I think he is doing the right thing when he just hammers the subject and the facts with the narrow focus of what is actually being debated.  I have noticed that the more he stays on the main subject the more it disarms his attackers.  The more he hammers the facts of just the subject matter the less sense their broad arguments make.
If I appear taller than other men it is because I am standing on the shoulders of others.

Wayne LaPierre did not rise to his present position by accident. He is intelligent, articulate and a strong champion of our rights.

And yeah, he smoked Mitchel and I loved it. ;D
