Bad week for bad guys

Last week was a bad one for would-be robbers around the state.

On Saturday, a man returning to his apartment in Orlando was stopped by two men who tried to hold him up, OrlandoSentinel.com reports. When one pointed a gun at him, the victim pulled his own gun, killing the gunman, then held the other until deputies arrived. The victim also carried a concealed weapon permit.

On Friday, a Brinks security guard shot and killed a would-be robber who attacked him while he was making a routine stop at a South Miami-Dade health clinic, the Miami Herald reports.

And starting the week on Sunday in Bristol, a 24-year-old man used a toy pistol to hold up an 82-year-old bar owner. During a struggle, the victim managed to reach his own pistol, a .357 magnum, and shot the robber dead, according to newsherald.com of Panama City.

" The way of the transgressor is hard " is what it says in the Bible.
These reports prove that is still true in FREE America.

I always wonder what these morons are thinking when they bring a toy gun or BB gun to a gunfight.
""It may be laid down as a primary position, and the basis of our system, that every Citizen who enjoys the protection of a free Government, owes not only a proportion of his property, but even his personal services to the defence of it, and consequently that the Citizens of America (with a few legal and official exceptions) from 18 to 50 Years of Age should be borne on the Militia Rolls, provided with uniform Arms, and so far accustomed to the use of them, that the Total strength of the Country might be called forth at a Short Notice on any very interesting Emergency." - George Washington. Glad to see the BGs getting shut down. Somehow I missed these stories on CNN, MSNBC, ABC.............................etc.
“What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that the people preserve the spirit of resistance?”

Thomas Jefferson, 1787
