He can do the math he just doesn't understand it.  Need someone that can explain it to him.

I see where the numbers are coming from, but when you have figured them out what question have you answered ?

It's a conversion of some sort.  He tried to tell me but I never even took chemistry that alone advanced chem.

 It's one of those things that I ignore because when you don't know enough to understand the questions, answers aren't going to do you any good  ;D

Based on the link Tim quoted, it seems to be reducing to the common chemical denominator.
