Gun noise inside house

One time I was standing in a doorway, right next to the door and fired my .357. ONCE!!! I think I had an ear infection already but when the sound bounced off of the door a foot away it really hurt.

.357 is the worst caliber in the world to shoot. I love it dearly for its down range effectiveness, but you get the big boom plus that hyper sonic crack. Just not a fun round to shoot. Its why most folks prefer to practice with .38.
