I voted yes, not because I agree with FQ, but on Constitutional grounds.
The 1st A says :
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Marriage is, by definition a RELIGIOUS ceremony, and what does the majority (Christian ) religion of America have to say about homosexuals ?
Well one passage, I believe in Leviticus, says that men who sleep with men, as with women, are an abomination, and should be killed.
Congress does not have the legal authority to force Churches to do something that they should in fact abhor.
By the same token, since most churches are hurting so badly for donations they will compromise their principles to the point of appointing an abomination to a leadership position, it is refreshing to see SOME ONE standing up for morality.
