Holy Sh**it.... I aint reading all that!

Seriously..... 17 paragraphs ??? My gosh, the first three paragraphs were nothing but rambling hoo-ha! I dont know what kind of cold medicine you are on, but you might want to scale it back a little now that you are feeling better.

I stopped reading at "ok.... back to my story.....". Can someone please give me the condensed version?

She said she lost her voice, but so far no one has broken her fingers ... Yet  ;)

Well you lost me when you said you love Halloween. its a pagan ritual, and as a Christian I cant condone this type of behavior.

Then Christmas must give you pause, as it falls on a traditional pagan festival time, not when Christ was actually born.

We regular folks, Christian or not, celebrate Halloween because it's fun for the kids, not for any other reason.

So aren't Christmas, New year, and Easter if you want to be technical about it.
To further burst your bubble, Thanksgiving does not derive from the "pilgrims" at Plymouth Rock either, it was first declared a holiday by George Washington.

I never thought about pagan festivals........just candy and scaring the ever-loving crap out of folks.   ;D  ;D  ;D

My gosh 2 How.. Lighten up...........have you not ever dressed up and trick or treated when you were a kid? if you haven't I feel very sorry for you. If you have children.. they don't get to join in the fun of being in a costume ..thinking they are spooky and getting candy? Poor little things........
It is a time for fun and the parents around her gt hay racks and take groups of the kids to each block.. The little town is alive with happy children having fun.. those same children you will see in Sunday School each Sunday...
Now tell me... what is wrong with that?

Marshal and I dress up every year and set on the porch. Since I have the yard and everything all decorated..most of the time they think we are just one of the stuffed decorations... Until they get on the porch and then as I was a witch last year...I let out this witch cackle or when Marshal was a werewolf and he let out this wolf howl..  hahahaha the kids would scream ..and run down the steps.. but then come back laughing as we handed them candy and goodies.
I already have some of the kids asking if we are going to be on the porch this year.. I just tell them I don't know... anything might happen.........
( actually we might set in the yard or by the steps... )LOL
I don;t know what we will be yet this year.. but we have an adult Halloween party to go to afterwards ...but I'll be sure and post pictures..

here is us last yr
