OK...it took just 20 minutes to get hit by the 2nd wave of ZomBAMAies. They came up out of the waters...in Tulsa the Arkansas River and some ponds in town....outside of town they move from Skiatook Lake, Oolagah Lake and Keystone Lake. The scary thing this time...it's a coordinated attack. Widely different areas coordinated to move at the same time...really scary...the first time we've seen this from the undead.
We're still fending them off, but like MB said the 12 gauge is supreme for close in work and the 5.56 generally only knocks off chunks of jaw, cheek, whatever but does not get to the brain. Since Zombies cannot be seen more than 250 or so yards away, I am up on the 308 right now for the 50 to 250 yard ranges...that's the ticket, accurate, not too much recoil and it thins the herd a bit before the main attack and the Tromix Saiga's come out with buckshot.
Any word on your contacts?
20:30 Hrs update--IMPORTANT--The damn things have broken through our front lines. Beware..these things have some kind of control to them...they came in wearing Clooney, Oprah and Soros masks and threw our front lines in a panic. It was ugly out there....some of our guys are out for psych, maybe to be committed for good...I don't know how this is going to turn out. Best of luck to you all. I hope we are around to compare notes tomorrow.
