I'm trapped in my own house.....surrounded by 7 (count 'em 7) giant crock-pots loaded with 75 lbs of lamb.........

I'm about to hurl.........

.....and if you've ever cooked lamb you know where I'm coming from...........

This stuff is ferocious.
The things I do to help the future of the nation.
It's time, once again, to cook a lamb for the FFA Ag Science's livestock production study class at our high school. I was hoping it would pass by unnoticed this year....but the Ag teacher said if we weren't able to do the cooking (because of my wife's illness), then she would call the whole thing off because she didn't want anyone else but us doing it.
So.....what was a guy to do?
You didn't think I'd bail on 'em did ya?
I guess the stink's worth it..............it'll all be good in the morning anyway.....if I can just make it through the night with my guts still intact.
Then next week I get to get up at 6:00 AM and fry 4 turkeys (50 lbs worth) to go with the 30 lbs of chicken dressing, 30 lbs of tater salad, peach cobbler...........then watch it all get eaten in a matter of minutes by 40 teenagers.
