I'd choose a Ruger Redhawk in .44 mag as my "Only Handgun." Revolvers don't jam short of a major breakage, and .44 mag would be good for bear, moose or elk, as well as deer and wild hogs; and I'd get one with a 5 in barrel because the 7 & 1/2 is harder to conceal (And YES I HAVE tried it with a 7 & 1/2 in Redhawk), but the 4 in barrel isn't always legal to hunt with in some of the communist (Uh, I mean Left) states. And for defense, I mean come on; "Do Ya feel Lucky, Punk? Well Do ya???"

Tell me somebody hit with a .44 is gonna keep fighting you. I guess stranger things have happened, but I don't think it'd be very likely.
