Like using a string to haul up a rope, or a rope to haul up a cable. But smaller. Good thinking, and a lot safer. But a line throwing gun would be more fun.   Here's a custom made .45-70. KA-BLAM! What are you doing? Putting up a radio antenna.

Mmm, chili. That sounds good. I keep forgetting to post a pic of the Christmas tree that was in my doctor's office when I saw her Tuesday. The ornaments are pill bottles, specimen cups, etc., and the blanket of snow around the bottom of the tree must be the "butcher paper" your ham sits on, on an exam table.   I thought I saw paper towel down there, but maybe not. The star on top has a paper circle in the center that reads WE LOVE OUR PATIENTS.

Fishing rod & reel and a lead weight or a loose nut of proper size and weight.  Toss across and then pull up nylon line and then the rope. 

Takes a little while to get the hang of it....
