Reloading / Re: Fun With Small Primer .45ACP

I haven't sorted the second batch I obtained but cursory exam it appears to be mostly SPP.  Beggars can't be choosey.  I'll save the SPP brass and load it somewhere down the road.  Might even be easier to put aside the LPP and only use the SPP for the time being.  All for revolver so there won't be any "lost" brass.  These two batches or ~1,000ea will last me for a long time.

Frank, if that Para can eat +P regularly, it can eat SMC if the guys who developed it are to be believed. I've just been overbuilding to .45 Super spec just to be cautious.

Knives & Blades / Re: I got more knives today.

The last knife I got is a Schrade Reckon Assisted Opening Folder. According to the site it's a dark stonewash 3.0" D2 steel blade and 4.5" black aluminum handle, and 7.5" OAL. But the box says it's a 3.25" blade with a 7.6" overall length. Either way, I like flippers with assisted opening, and it's a solid-feeling quarter pound. I just need to shorten the blade a bit to get it down to 3", which I shouldn't have to do when it was advertised as being 3.0" long. .

Step into a realm of unparalleled precision and unyielding power with the Reckon Assisted Folder, a true embodiment of cutting-edge design and relentless performance. Harness the might of the Reckon Assisted Folder's ultra-tough D2 steel blade, a force to be reckoned with. Crafted to thrive in the face of adversity, D2 steel boasts extraordinary strength and resilience. Experience the thrill of rapid deployment like never before with Schrade’s famous Nitro Assisted Technology and wield the unwavering durability of the black aluminum handle.

I like it. Maybe you can use the SPP brass for loading .45 Super? Just a thought.

I had some Admiral Nelson's premium spiced rum mixed with water and Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor cotton candy. Now I'm drinking water again.

I took the VFG off and put a big, chunky one on (see post #25) that I failed to return for a refund a long time ago. Now I have a spare. I should grind offf the top finger shelf like I did the MFT grip in post #28.

S&W recently started making revolvers without the infernal lock again. And the S&W Model 940 is available for the first time in 27 years. A new 625 without a lock could possibly be made again.

I took the grip tape off my full-size Para-Ordnance and cleaned the frame off really well. But the rest of it's not very clean. I took of one of the Strike Industries Bang Band Minis off the grip after I took the pics. It still has the bottom one on it. I've often thought about getting a 1911 in another caliber like .460 Rowland or .450 SMC, but I don't have much use for them since I don't hunt anymore.
