I was wondering if you were supposed to use a roll crimp or taper crimp. It makes sense you couldn't squeeze them much either way before they fragment.

Chicken gizzards with Bonsai sauce. I don't know why this sauce was named after tiny little trees. I figured almost everyone would pronounce it wrong if someone like Mr. Miyagi wasn't there to correct them, so I asked for Banzai sauce and they didn't hesitate one nanosecond. So, like kamikaze pilots would supposedly shout "banzai!" as they rammed their planes into enemy ships, I said that instead of asking for sauce named after a tree that would fit on your desk and could be several centuries old.

Team America: World Police (2004), 7.2/10 stars at IMBd. I saw it once, years ago and have been wanting to see it again. You can watch it for free at YouTube, but not in HD. It was made by the same 2 guys who made South Park, and has the most patriotic song of 2004, America, F**k Yeah. :D

I'm at the part of the movie where the boss recruited an actor to infiltrate a meeting of terrorists and gather intel. The last thing he tells the new guy, "... if for some reason your cover is blown and the terrorists take you prisoner well, you'll probably want to take your own life. Here, you'd better have this." Then he sets this beat up old hammer on the conference table in front of him. ;D  If you don't think that's funny, this may not be the movie for you.

how much crimp are you putting on it?  i have heard that any more than a slight roll crimp and it can break.

Here's the 10/22 with the wooden stock back on it, and it's younger sibling. I was in such a hurry to take the picture, I forgot to take the rear QD swivel socket adaptor off the folding stock and put it on the wood stock. And I left the grip plug for the folding stock setting here on my desk with the 2 Allen wrenches I used on the stock screw and barrel band screw. I'll take that up to the bedroom where the guns are and pop it in tonight. Maybe tomorrow I'll take care of the QD sling socket, but I've had enough for tonight. The bolt handles are lined up even. I think the Trek-22 barrel is an even 18" like they say, instead of 18.5". The stock could have been shorter if it weren't for the pesky law, so they used the wasted space for onboard mag storage. Very smart. There are 20 CCI Stingers ready to go in BX-1-40 (40th Anniversary) mags the pic.

Three slices of cheesecake, because the first 2 were lonely and wanted some company. ;) I had lemon, banana cream, and key lime flavor. The lemon was VERY tangy but good. Banana cream cheesecake was everything I like about banana cream pie and cheesecake rolled into one. Key lime was good but not great compared to that.

I just typed up a bunch of stuff and accidentally closed the wrong window. Long story short, I'm spiffing up my old walnut stock.

I have the Trek-22 taking the place of the 10/22 with its folding stock as a compact fun gun, and I'm putting the full-length stock with 1" extended buttpad back on the 10/22. Next I need to find a Picatinny rail to mount one of my scopes on. Leupold has a really nice looking one, but it has 20MOA of elevation built in, and I'm not likely to shoot much beyond 50 yards, and even more likely to shoot at 25 yards than 50. I thought I was finally done with it, other than a paint job. I still plan on hitting it with a rattle can but might wait a few months.
