Working with the FRG-7 from Yaesu right now.  It's...I dunno...at least 44 years old but it has been recapped and tuned in the last several years and works like new.

I like listening in on WWL-870 AM in New Orleans.  Especially the Saturday morning (5 AM - 7 AM) Outdoor Show with Don Dubuc ( https://www.dontheoutdoorsguy.com/ )to keep up with the fishing and hunting back home and along the coast.

Wintertime is easy because of atmospheric conditions but summer is tough.  Have any of you guys ever put up a Beverage antenna?  I just ordered 1,000 feet of wire to build one out.

Good morning from chiba prefecture all. It’s a beautiful morning. Just got back from a quick 5 mile run and hungry as heck. Everyone here has been very welcoming. Kimis whole demeanor has changed. I can tell she was not only more relaxed but homesick. Time for some tea

Update time.  How the heck are you and where are you?

Ginger beer and bourbon. I only have one bottle of ginger beer left, and I'm going to mix another drink after this. I have ginger ale in the fridge too.

German Ring Bologna, course ground with extra garlic. It looks and tastes nothing like regular bologna. It looked more like a fat Polish sausage folded in half.

I got a Storacell Bayonet 21700 Without Divider, Built for storing 2 21700 Batteries. They come with or without a divider, in Clear, Black Tint, Desert Sand, Olive Drab, and Black. I got Desert Sand to go with my backpack. I cut the foam cord into 3 different size pieces, too short, too long, and just right. It turns out that 1/3 of it was just the right length for me. After I took the pics, I put the "pool noodle" in sideways and it stuck in the middle of the tube. I can easily remove it by pushing both batteries through from one end. Then it will be big enough to hold a cigar for my victory dance after I destroy my enemies. ;)  If I wasn't buying it to match any of my gear I would have bought the black tint version, still without a divider, which makes it more useful for holding a variety of other small items. Need to carry cash when you're whitewater rafting? Stick it in a tube and strap it down. All 10 models are $16, and spare end caps in black, sand, or OD are $8 a pair. I like how you only have to turn the caps 90 degrees to open or close it. The tabs on the caps should be perpendicular to the bayonet lugs. When you turn them clockwise they click firmly into place when the tabs are parallel to the side extensions that a strap can be run through. Since 18650 batteries are almost as big as 21700 batteries, the Bayonet would be great for storing a pair of them too, or one of each. The foam cord in the middle would take any rattle out. You could put a stack of 4 123A batteries in one too, or a pair of them with one of the other batteries.

This kind: Multipurpose Bayonet Features Seamless Single Chamber Design

The other kind: Multipurpose Bayonet Featuring Divider for Separate Chambers

Both:

– Purpose-Built for 21700 Batteries: Securely stores and protects high-capacity 21700 cells in a rugged, field-ready design.
– Waterproof Protection: Dual end caps with O-ring seals create a tight barrier against moisture, dirt, and debris.
– Quick-Access End Caps: Quarter-turn BAYONET release design allows fast opening from either end for quick loading and unloading.
– Customizable Fit: Includes foam cord you can cut to size, reducing battery rattle and keeping cells snug in place.
– Virtually Indestructible Build: Tube crafted from impact-resistant Polycarbonate/Lexan with rugged Acetyl caps for unmatched durability.

Weight: 2.4 oz
Length with Caps: 6 3/4 in
Length without Caps: 6 1/16 in
Tube Inner Diameter: 0.94 in

The 45th Infantry Division of the United States Army based in Oklahoma, changed their original shoulder sleeve insignia approved in August 1924, to a thunderbird in 1939. No one knows why. ;)  I have an idea what the reason may have been, but can't be sure.

Jimmy Dean Meat Lover's breakfast burritos. They have potatoes in them. I never knew potatoes were a form of meat.

Scratch that. The last thing I had was a small bag of butter rum glazed popcorn that didn't taste like butter or rum.
